Hi there! I'm Lauren Ardyce of Ardyce Blooms! Supporting families in birth as a doula and photographer is my soul's path in life. As a birth doula and photographer, I’m deeply honored to capture the sacred, intimate moments of birth. Being able to document such tender moments as they unfold is a true privilege. I'm endlessly grateful to the families who invite me into their lives, allowing me to preserve the joy of welcoming new life. It brings me immense gratitude to create lasting memories for families in Kearney, Nebraska, and beyond.

some fun FAQ's
I became a doula in 2015 when living in Minnesota I was able to be a part of an amazing doula community, and so glad I can build a community here in Kearney now. It did not take long before I grabbed my camera to bring to births with me.
I believe birth is a right of passage that should be respected and witnessed. I believe mothers should be listened to and supported.
For birth I try to be a fly on the wall. There is not directing or posing just simply me seeing the transformation happening in front of me. For family sessions these can be gently guided into posing but I mostly focus of capturing true documentary images of families.
It all comes down to croissants, butter, bingo and naps being my favorite things!
